Attendance Management & Leave Tracking Software

Automate monthly attendance tracking, define work plans, and consolidate leave requests — all without daily manual entry.

Why Manual Attendance Is a Problem Worth Solving

Most HR teams still rely on spreadsheets for attendance. Someone fills in daily check‑in times, someone else tracks leave requests in a separate file, and by payroll week, nobody has a clean picture of who worked how many hours and who was on approved leave. Errors creep in. Deductions get calculated incorrectly. Employees raise queries. The cycle repeats.

I‑spurHR's attendance module breaks this cycle by letting you configure a monthly work plan once — and letting the system do the rest.

How the System Works: Three Steps

Step 1 — Define Your Standard Shift

Set your company's baseline check‑in/out time (e.g., 09:00–18:00). Apply to the whole month in one click. Individual days can be overridden if needed.

Step 2 — Mark Your Weekly Offs

Select recurring non‑working days (Saturday/Sunday or any custom days). Off days are automatically locked – no accidental logging.

Step 3 — Auto‑Track and Export

System calculates total working hours in real time. The data feeds directly into payroll – no manual hour‑counting.

Monthly Work Plan Configuration

When you open the attendance module, you start by selecting a year, month, and group company — essential for organisations with multiple subsidiaries. Each entity can have its own shift rules, while the same interface handles all of them.

After loading the plan, the system generates a row for every day of that month. Each row shows: the date and day of the week, the status (Work in green / Off in red), and editable check‑in/out fields for working days. Week‑off rows are non‑editable by design. The Plan Summary panel shows total hours logged so far, updating instantly as you make changes.

Understanding the Leave Summary

I‑spurHR maintains a consolidated leave summary that pulls together every approved and pending leave request across your workforce. The table shows for each employee:

  • Unpaid leave – approved and pending, tracked separately for payroll deductions.
  • Paid leave – approved and pending, drawn from leave balances (no deduction, but balance updated).
  • Total approved leave – combined figure used in attendance summary.
  • Site visits – separate tracking for field/project employees (e.g., infrastructure, construction).

Filters by month, group company, and status let you run payroll reports, view pending approvals, or isolate a subsidiary’s data.

What This Means for Payroll

Every figure in the attendance and leave module is structured for payroll consumption. Approved unpaid leaves trigger automatic deductions. Approved paid leaves update leave balances. Site visits are tracked with their own paid/unpaid classification.

The result: by month‑end, payroll teams have a clean, auditable record — not a patchwork of spreadsheets, emails, and approval trails. HR doesn't need to chase down records, and employees don't wonder whether their leave was accounted for correctly.

Multi‑Company Support

Organisations with group structures — a holding company, a technology subsidiary, an infrastructure division — can manage attendance for all entities from the same interface. Each company can have its own standard shift, week‑off configuration, and leave summary.

When switching between companies, the work plan reloads with that entity's settings. Shift rules saved at the company level persist across months.
